Service Credits
In additional to Credit Dollars, ByRSVP also has credits that apply to specific types of services. For example, SMS Send Credits can only be used for SMS Send messages, and SMS Blast Credits can only be used for SMS Blast messages.
These service specific credits can come about because:
- ByRSVP allots you credits for some reason or other (e.g. trial credits, discounts, etc).
- Brought forward from old credit charging scheme (for customers before 1 Aug 2009).
For messages to local mobile numbers, one credit of the respective service is charged for each SMS unit length. For messages to foreign mobile numbers, three credits of the respective service is charged for each SMS unit length. For example, a 180 character message length SMS Blast to a foreign mobile number will cost 6 SMS Blast Credits.
Service Credits usually have an expiry date, typically 6 months from the time that the credit is effected.
