Verification Code

ByRSVP may request that you type in a verification code in some of its online forms. The verification code is displayed in an image similiar to the one pictured here. The position and orientation of the letters are randomized, and some random noise is added to the image. It becomes non-trivial for a program to read and decipher the letters in the image, although a person should still be able to easily identify the letters.

The purpose of the verification code is to prevent automated or scripted bulk form submissions. This helps to protect ByRSVP from malicious users who may attempt to flood us with ficticious account registrations or other form submissions.
